Cloud Services which are delivered to companies and customers over the means of Internet on demand. The Cloud Services provide easy access to applications and resources as well as at affordable price. The benefit of this service is that it can be done without the need of hardware. Most people use cloud service in their daily life whether they are aware of it or not such as checking their mail. Cloud Services are managed by service providers and are made available from provider’s server to clients. Hence, there is no need for a company to host the application. There are many benefits of Cloud services but the important one were the ability to scale, low cost and more flexibility. The cloud service provider supplies all important/necessary software which helps company for not hiring extra workforce or gets their own application to manage the service. Mostly cloud services provide services in a subscription basis which lowers the cost of investing in underlying structure. Company can anyway get on demand service and can shut the service from the service provider if they facing any difficulty. There are basic three types of cloud services which are software as a service (SaaS), infrastructure as a service (IaaS), and platform as a Service (PaaS). Software as a service is the most recognized category of service which offers variety of services such as file storage and backup, web-based mail and project management tools. Infrastructure as a service provides infrastructure to manage SaaS tools. For example Amazon Web Series, who maintain all storage servers. Platform as a service provides developers to build a cloud service providing application. PaaS provides database, Operating System and programming language to developers for making their own app. Services which are offered over web to large number of customers is known as Public Cloud Services. Services that are mostly not available to subscribers are called Private Cloud Services. A private solution is combined with public cloud services, which is termed as hybrid cloud environment; it is often used when an organization needs to store sensitive data in personal cloud, and also wants employees to access the app. If all the companies switch to Cloud Services, these services will continue to simplify how organizations deliver mission-critical apps and data to the workforce. Software that is stored in and run from someone’s local hard-drive is not the cloud because one of the requirements of the cloud computing is that the software, the underlying code, and the supporting infrastructure must be delivered via the internet and must run over the internet. Use of cloud services is growing exponentially and a recent survey by the Cloud Security Alliance found that an overwhelming 64.9% of IT leaders think the cloud is as secure as or more secure than on-premises software.
